Jon Douglas Lord occurs as British Hammond organ and piano player.
He was innate within Leicester on June 9, 1941. He was the member of Deep Purple, Whitesnake, Paice, Ashton & Lord, Artwoods, and Flowerpot Men. He is recognized for combining rock & classical music. Around 1968, Jon co-founded Deep Purple, a band he was virtually all easily-known for. Jon & a drummer, Ian Paice, were the lone constant band members for 34 years. He left Deep Purple due to injury fallowing their UK tour inside 2002, & was replaced by using Don Airey. Jon was easily-respected for his mastery of the Hammond Organ. A select few known as him "Lord of the Hammond", & within his 34-month Deep Purple career, smart shoppers may hear his distinctive solos amid numerous classic songs in their albums.
